Tending to night dreams through creative explorations
Dreamwork is your birthright. It's an innate capacity of all beings: humans, plants, animals, trees, stones, clouds - all of the Earth. Of the galaxy. Of the universe!
And yet, there you are, in your own home, apartment, communal housing, cabin, yurt, shack, tent, mansion - and it's just you and your foggy, drowsy, fragmented waking.
Some mornings, you catch one: a glimmer, a shard, a snippet, a flash, or maybe if you're blessed, an entire 3-Dtechnicolor blockbuster film complete with outtakes and bloopers.
Yet, in either case, you have no idea what to make of it, really. Or very little time. At best, you get that it's a wildly undefined, hallucinatory encounter where all you can say with certainty is some kind of mystery is tugging at you, then disappearing.
So, yes, while dreamwork is absolutely your birthright - a precious gift, even - most of us are too disconnected from communities of practice to know how to sustain meaningful explorations of our night dreaming.
Without a practice, tool-kit, facilitator, or guide to lead us through these strange and mystical realms, most of us flounder in confusion, revulsion, fear, avoidance, occasionally boredom, but possibly worst of all, outright rejection of our dreams. It's all too much, with no way to make sense.
Don't let this be you! Symbody the Dream longs to support you in exploring, honoring, and tending the wild spiritual message that is you, seeking you through your dreaming!
